Kicking off the 2007 show season, X2C-UK
hit Donnington park raceway for the
Donny North international styling and
tuning show. Held over the Easter bank
holiday weekend, X2C arrived on Good
Friday leaving us ample time to set
up the huge marquee and staged area
so come Saturday morning the PA system
would be in place for the X2C Dj’s
to do their thing while our newest dance
troop entertained the crowds.

Along with our show cars, street dancers,
Dj's and MC's were the ladies of X2C,
also helping to entertainment the public
with photo oppertunities and our notourious
car wash all of whom are regular members/posters
on our fast moving and friendly forums

Growing in both size and quality the
X2C show cars were obviously present,
with newer offerings coming in the form
of Ads smooth Punto and Biggy’s
flame filled Focus, also some of our
longer standing members were not to
be out done thanks to complete makeovers,
namely Tony’s 206cc and Burnsie’s
Ecosse 206 both looking completely different
to previous. With over 30 show and track
cars available for viewing, our own
resident dancers and Dj’s along
with new model line up, marquee and
seating area this is one club stand
you didn’t want to miss, especially
when you understand that its all made
possible just by member donations.

 |
New for 2007, X2C-UK hosted its own
awards this year aiming to show our
appreciation for other club cars and
members pushing things forward in the
modified world with prizes awarded to
Martin Pitt's MK2 Punto for 'Best Car',
Chris Woodman of SW Cruise for 'Best
Ice' with his 206 and Lee Richards of
SheffCruise for 'Best Paint' with his
mint Mk2 Golf. Straight after these
awards we also hosted the official awards
care of the Donny organisers where we
were thrilled to be told for a second
time, X2C-UK had taken the award for
best club stand.
