We
all met nice and early on saturday
morning and convoyed up through London
to Alexandra Palace. Upon arrival
we queued amongst a vast amount of
modified motors to get into the show.
After
waiting almost 5 hours to start setting
up our stand due to its location and
a complete mix up, we managed to get
the stand ready and the cars clean.
At 5 o clock the doors were opened
and flocks of people came in.
Throughout
the night there was lots to do. Westwood
appeared once again on stage playing
some hectic tunes, the Clarion stage
was active throught with beatboxing
and breakdancing, the Army had a stand
with a climbing wall and other activities,
and there was obviously a lot of cars
and models to admire.
X2C's
stand consisted of 7 modified motors,
Marky's 206, Ben's Corsa, Taz's Scooby,
Jason's Smart, Andy's Rx-7, Del's
200sx and Kriss Punto. As well as
the cars we had the marquee up with
Decks blazing throughout the night.
Finally the time came to head over
to the main stage for the award ceremony.
X2C
Won 5 Awards for its cars
-
Best Wild Peugeot went to Marky (
206 )
- Best Mild 4 Door went to Taz ( Scooby
)
- Best Wild Mazda went to Andy ( RX
- 7 )
- Best Mild Subaru went to Taz ( Scooby
)
- Best ICE ( Install ) went to Marky
( 206 )
So overall it was an eventful night
and a great success for X2C. We all
left Alexandra Palace in high spirits
at around 1 o clock on sunday morning.
I would to thank everyone who turned
up and supported X2C.
