French Car Show 2005

Just like last year the day started early. After meeting at Purley we headed to Toddington Services in convoy to meet up with a few other groups. From Toddington we headed straight to Bruntingthorpe to set up camp for the day. With good weather and a fairly decent spot it was the making of another great day for X2C.

The area was quickly filled with more French Cars than you could imagine with all types of Renaults, Peugeots and Citroens. Also the usual suspects where out and about with their superb motors. The track was busy throughout, with a 1/4 Mile strip and a race track it was non stop action.

This show sticks out from the other shows as it is more of a relaxed show, but there was still alot to do and a hell of a lot of motors to see, from lambo-doored 206's to supercharged Clio V6's, from two tone Saxo's on 20's to stupidly low R5 GT Turbo's. The turn out this year was better than last year with many more quality motors.

Overall it was an excellant day for the X2C Crew. I would like to thank all the people that made it up to Leicester to show their support, as well as all the fine carz on the X2C Stand - thanks to Marky (206), Nigel (Clio), Jason (Smart), Nuggs (106), Space (206), Dan (206cc), Simon (Clio), Shell (206cc) and Sonic (206).
