On
Sunday, August the 14th, North Wield
Airfield in Essex was to host one
of the best shows this season, The
Ripspeed Donny South Show. With a
huge turnout of modified cars and
lots of action throughout the day,
with lots of car clubs battling for
Best Car Club and hundreds of cars
battling for best in show, it sure
was gonna be a great day.
X2C
had one of the biggest stands at the
show. With a huge 20x20m sound stage
with a 5k PA system ( thanks to DHE
Professional ), 25 sick modified cars,
3 of the best street dancers around
and a small group of gorgeous models,
and over 70 X2C Crew members, this
was one display not to be missed.
Throughout
the day we put on one of the best
shows, from street dancing to a show
stopping car wash, from break dancing
to live DJ'ing... at the end of the
day we had put on one of the best
displays ever put on by a car club
( as said by members of the Donny
South Live Crew and other Members
of other car clubs ).
Finally
the time came for the Award Ceremony.
9 cars went up to the arena to represent
themselves. From X2C, Marky and his
206 went up to represent X2C as Best
Car Club, and Del with his 200sx went
up for the Premier Best in Show award.
After lots of hype by the Live Crew,
we finally got the awards...
X2C
came 1st in The 2005 Best Car Club
Championships ( 2nd went to SMCC and
3rd went to TeamShock ) and Del picked
up 1st and recieved The 2005 Premier
Best in Show award.
I
would just like to thank everyone
that took part in the show, from the
members with their cars on show (
thanks to the SCD Crew for bringing
a few cars ) to the DHE Crew for supplying
the stage, from the awesome street
dancers to the gorgeous models, and
from the management and events team
for setting it everything up, to everyone
from X2C that turned up on the Sunday
to show their support. We could not
have done this without you guys.
