...::: Inti's Peugeot 206 Feature :::...

Life is all that sweeter for 24 year old London based Inti Van Ritchie when he is driving down the road, as his car is one of the most well known Peugeot 206’s on the modified car scene. Over the last 5 years Inti and world renowned Peugeot modifiers Ecosse have created a masterpiece of a modified car.

Starting with a Toxic II wide arch kit, this would be one of the focal points of this immense piece of car art. The whole kit has been smoothed into the body and all the handles and locks removed from the doors and boot giving a clean and factory look. The car stands out from the crowd with a bright House of Kolor Tangelow pearl re-spray, not forgetting the House of Kolor Graphite pearl detailing.

With such a road presence a set of wheels like no other had to be found, Inti has not disappointed. A set of 19" Budnik Sweeper alloy wheels with 215/35/19 Toyo T1S Tires fill the arches perfectly when the Ecosse airbag suspension is lowered. Hiding behind the front wheels are a monster set of Tarox 370mm grooved discs with Tarox 12pot calipers and not wanting to forget the rear a set of Tarox 330mm grooved discs with conversion kit for rear callipers have been fitted.

Stating that this car is like a life size toy might sound like a laugh, until you see the interior. Every part has either been modified or replaced, not forgetting the custom roof lining, yes the roof lining! Sitting in the front of this car in the retrimmed Cobra Misano Carbon Fibre backed seats you begin to see little details that most people would forget. As a driver most people expect to see all the dials behind the steering wheel, unfortunately you wouldn’t find them there in Inti’s car. Look up at the roof lining and you are greeted by Stack ST8130 Dash system. The centre console has also been smoothed out and the Kenwood headunit rises vertically from the top of the dash. In the doors are customised Esquiss door cards and housing Audiobahn speakers, TV’s and even NOS bottles! Looking into the rear of the car you will find a 206cc rear bench that has been custom fitted with more Audiobahn speakers built into the sides. Opening the boot you find an Esquiss Boom Box that houses yet even more of the Audiobahn stereo system. Two 12’’ subwoofers and an amp greet you with 2, 1 Farad Power capacitors. It is clear that this car is something that you will rarely find.

Not wanting to be a car that just looked good, Inti wanted the car to go well to. A call to Ecosse saw an EW10J4S 206GTI 180 engine transplanted into place and tuned to produce upwards of 300bhp after a Opcon Supercharger system was fitted. As Inti turns the engine over you hear just how mega this car is and the grin that comes over his face is rather worrying, you know that the engine is there for a reason.
This car has seen covers throughout Europe and taking many trophies, the best of which was the 2006 Gti International Top 20 trophy. Inti tells us that the car is now complete and he has no further plans to modify it, all though being an architect obviously has it’s advantages as he hopes to build a big fluffy garage to keep the car in!

We look forward to seeing the car Inti will be modifying next, a new Audi TT in September!
