...::: D Boy's Nissan S15 Feature :::...

After owning one of Europe’s well known Citroen Saxos it was time for the man simply known as Dboy to look for power. With his previous car trimmed in snake skin and green vinyl, rolling on 20’’ wheels and with suicide doors it made the 1.6 engine work to get anywhere, this would not be the same treatment for the Nissan S15 that was to replace it.

The thought behind this car is how much power can the engine produce, with a few choice modifications. Within 6 months of owning the car Dboy has done very well and the car is a stunning example of what can be done to gain power, and be used daily as well!


With a standard Nissan paint job that has been well maintained by previous owners, the car looks like it is brand new from the dealers. The outside of the car has been treated to a set of 18in Ultralite Atec alloy wheels in gunmetal, Wise Square rear lights and a set of Nismo indicators. In Car Entertainment is pretty minimal with an Alpine Headunit and Diamond Audio Speakers, but who needs this when you have a tuned S15 engine to listen to.


Getting the car to handle the power and stop right was first on the agenda before moving onto the engine. For suspension Apex 32 way coilovers and alignment arms where purchased along with Whiteline anti Roll bars. A 315 db power brake upgrade with ferodo racing pads and braided lines make sure that the car stops when it needs to.

As for the engine this has been tuned to produce approximately 350bhp at the wheels, something that DBoy is hoping to have confirmed after a Rolling Road session. To get to this power a selection of modifications were chosen including a Garrett 2871r turbo, braided turbo lines, H-Dev manifold, ths turbo elbow and down pipe have been fitted onto the engine.

With lots of carbon and a new interior on the way, this car is shaping up to be an awesome car!
